Zam Wessel is a shape shifting bounty hunter, who was subcontracted by the notorious bounty hunter/mercenary Jango Fett. Zam’s bounty was none other than Senator Padme Amidala, in Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Zam’s first attempt on the Senator’s life was the destruction of her starship. Unfortunately for this changeling, the Senator evaded the explosion and was soon taken under the protection of the Jedi. To carry out the second attempt of her intended target, Zam has at her disposal the venomous Kouhun Worm. As Padme was being guarded by Master Obi Wan Kenobi, and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, Zam attempted a second time, only to be foiled by the Jedi, and captured. Before she had a chance to answer the Jedi’s questioning, she was eliminated by her employer, Jango Fett. As she cursed Jango with her last breath, her face reverted to it’s original Clawdite form.
Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd., the Zam Wessel Statue features the changling assassin in her highly detailed costume holding her sniper rifle and container of Kouhun Worms.
