While the T. rex may be the queen of Isla Nublar, the Mosasaurus is actually the largest Carnivore on the island, ruling the watery depths of the Mosasaurus Lagoon as the fiercest marine reptile to ever hunt the oceans.
Size estimates place the largest discovered Mosasaurus skeleton at a terrifying 16-18 meters in length, but there's no real way of knowing just how large the largest Mosasaurus could grow. Over 70 feet long, the Jurassic World Mosasaurus far surpasses anything seen in the fossil record.
Chronicle Collectibles' sculptors have captured the Mosasaurus in the midst of a graceful, downward turn, with her mouth opening wide to swallow a hapless Great White Shark. The hunter and the prey glide together over a lovely ocean floor display base.
The hand-painted polystone statue measures approx. 41 x 58 x 41 cm.
